Dvořákova Nelahozeves Music Festival
 

We are pleased to announce that the 73rd edition of the Dvořákova Nelahozeves Music Festival will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

This year’s festival, which annually celebrates the birth of world-famous composer Antonín Dvořák, is particularly special. The composer’s newly renovated birth house is officially open!

The house will be the center of the day’s festivities, followed by the main concert in the courtyard of Nelahozeves Castle.

PROGRAM:
11:00: Opening ceremony at the statue of Antonín Dvořák, adjacent to his house  
Performance by choir Období sboru

12:00: Concert by AKH (Akademie komorní hudby) at the Antonín Dvořák Birth House.* 
Program includes the music of Leoš Janáček, Antonín Dvořák, and Bedřich Smetana

14:00: Smetana – Dvořák – Janáček 
A lecture by Dr. Veronika Vejvodová and Dr. David Beveridge will be held at the Antonín Dvořák Birth House

14:00: Workshop for children at the Antonín Dvořák Birth House

16:00: Prague Philharmonia concert in the courtyard of Nelahozeves Castle

Ticket Information: 
Tickets for the Prague Philharmonia concert are available for purchase at the castle, Nelahozeves Information Center, and online at the festival website. Prague Philharmonia concert tickets are available for purchase for the following prices:
Adults: 450 CZK 
Children (ages 6–16): 400 CZK 
Seniors: 450 CZK  

*Tickets for the AKH concert will only be available for purchase at the venue for the price of 100 CZK each.
