Preserving, studying, sharing
Our conservation and restoration work are an essential part of our mission to preserve, study, and share the Lobkowicz Collections with the world.
Our team collaborates with local and international experts on research, preventative conservation techniques, treatment methods, and procedures for proper storage, handling, and display of the collections. Our conservation and restoration activities are made possible thanks to the generosity of private, institutional, and corporate donors to ensure that the collections—and the stories they tell—can be preserved for future generations.
Between 2021 and 2023, we restored a record-breaking over 60 works of art in the Lobkowicz Collections. This was made possible thanks to funds raised from Non-Fungible Castle.
