Advent Festival at Nelahozeves Castle
This ticket includes entry to the castle grounds for the Advent Festival, access to children's workshops, and a tour of the castle exhibition. We recommend combining with other ticket options.
Advent Festival Program
Saturday, December 7
Courtyard & Castle Grounds:
Arts and crafts stalls with holiday gifts for your loved ones
Pony rides
Juggler Erik
Concert featuring violin and bass or cello
Castle Cellars:
Czech folk and Christmas songs for dancing and listening by the FORMAT band from Roudnice nad Labem.
Draw inspiration from artisans demonstrating traditional holiday crafts and decorate your own glass ornaments, or make your own tree ornaments from straw, wire, and beads.
10:30: Sváťovo Dividlo – puppet theatre performance
13:00–15:30: Musical performances by students of the ZUŠ Kralupy nad Vltavou
17:00: Tree lighting with “Live Poppy Teatre” (angels on stilts)
Tours of Nelahozeves Castle Exhibition:
Advent tickets include a tour of the castle exhibition. Tours are offered with a guide.
Tour Length: 30 minutes
Capacity: 25 people maximum
Tour Times: Tours will take place on Saturday from 10:00 to 17:30. We recommend booking your tour time as soon as you arrive at the festival.

Open juggling workshop by Šapitó Theatre
Angels on stilts
Castle Cellars:
Enjoy music throughout the day by the Delta Blues Jam band - playing rock and roll, blues, Czech and international hits, and Christmas songs.
Draw inspiration from artisans demonstrating traditional holiday crafts, such as how to make and decorate your own františek (incense cone) or make ornaments from pressed glass and First Republic sheet music.
11:00: DAMDAM Theatre –interactive puppet show Christmas Frog Tales for children aged 3 and up (in Czech)
13:00–15:30: Musical performances by students of the ZUŠ Kralupy nad Vltavou
17:00: Singing performance of children from Kralupy Primary School at the Christmas tree

Tour Times: Tours will take place on Sunday from 10:00 to 16:30. We recommend booking your tour time as soon as you arrive at the festival.
Concerts at the Antonín Dvořák Birth House
This ticket includes entry to the exhibition at the Antonín Dvořák Birth House, workshops, and a one-hour Christmas concert at 14:00. Seating for the concert is limited. We recommend combining it with the Advent Festival at Nelahozeves Castle ticket.
